I first tried downloading PA through steam but the stupid unfixable pa.exe error came up. I tried the launcher and now it's "uberlauncher.exe isn't working". I've checked through many help threads and none of them have anything remotely helpful. Any help is appreciated.

I think so. I tried updating them earlier today, but apparently I have a 'generic' Intel driver so i picked a generic windows 7 64 bit update. It didn't work

A dxdiag would be very helpful to diagnose where things might be breaking for you!

The chip is an Intel(R) HD Graphics (Core i3) with 1760 MB of total memory. Now I'm not sure if this is helpful, but on the drivers side it says that the main driver is this:

    igdumd64.dll,igd10umd64.dll,igdumd>
the version on that is 8.15.10.2119

    thank you for the help

I did that and it told me to go to HP's driver finder because I apparently have a "generic" driver or chip. HP's website did not help me either.

If you get "not validated for this computer" error then download ZIP version of driver from same page and then install it using this instruction: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558749190911446231/

Though unfortunately driver version you posted let me identify your integrated graphics card as first generation of Intel HD which isn't actually support OpenGL 3.X and usually can't run this game. Though if you upload your DxDiag.txt I can check it for sure.

No, I believe you. I have had this computer for a very long time and have updated nothing really, so I have some shopping to do! Thank you for the information

Anyway it's worth to update drivers from ZIP and then check launcher again. I suppose it's shouldn't crash even if your hardware are old, but I not sure about the game.
