Any estimated date for when DRM will be removed and the ability to host servers from your computer will be implemented? People outside Europe and the US are still having lag issues while playing.
Whenever you ask a question related to time, like "when will x be done" the answer is always soon. The lag issues you're having also aren't due to your location. There's lots of people in the UK who play just fine and there are servers all over the world. The lag you're having is due to game performance not being finished.
For the most part yes, But A) the UK is in Europe, so I dont get you point there, and B) There are places where this could actually be problematic, for example SEA, which in my experience has latencies in excess of 300ms on average. That is workable, but its not good. Also, i believe there are 3 server clusters, Europe, NA and Australia, and this is a workload that really would benefit from being close to the player, but its too costly to do that.
Re-read your original post. "outside Europe." I misread and thought you said you were inside Europe. Either way. We won't be getting this stuff until release, and any time a "when" question is asked, the answer is "soon."
