Why yes, I am very Texan, and I'm glad y'all continue to enjoy my recaps.

The dates can be especially confusing for anyone working with the US military. The military uses "standard" dates like the rest of the world, Day/Month/Year, but the damned US civilians use Month/Day/Year. It becomes a terrible hot mess because I grew up an army brat and am prior service so I'm used to military dates. At work I write software for the army so I use military dates and time, but then I go home and everyone uses imperial backwards month/day, except for friends and family with military backgrounds. the end result is numbered months are only safe on days 13 and greater. About 10 years ago I decided the whole idea is bullshit and I write all my dates 6Jun2014 because it's the only way to know for sure.

(yes, I realize now that was supposed to be the date... still doesn't change the fact first time I saw it, I thought 'fraction' not 'date' lol)

You know 4/3 people have trouble with fractions.

I dunno, the algebra man within me says that fraction is just fine, but I worry when 133% of the population has trouble with statistics.

I genuinely LOLed at that. In the corporate farm giving 110% has been a running joke for a long time.

Don't annihiliate me for asking this please, but what is PTE? Quote when answering please so i get an alert.

The Public Test Environment. If you are running the UberLauncher, you should have a drop down menu that asks for stable or PTE.

Public Test Environment. If you use the Uber Launcher instead of Steam you have the option to download the PTE version and get the latest changes before they are deemed "ready" for the main release.

Should definitely switch to the ISO method found here: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/iso-date. I use it to date any computer file I work on.

If you dont go to the website this would have all dates read YYYY-MM-DD (though you cant normally use hyphens in a file name so I do it: YYYY MMDD)

Ah i use the Steam version.

Or 140%, like the russians do.

There are a LOT of changes to balance. We have started the hardcore 'combat balance'. Meta, myself and one of our producers sat in a room for days hammering out, testing, and tweaking health, speed, damage, cost or virtually all combat units.

Some highlights. (And this is not final)

• T1 AA bot removed from game.
• T2 Tactical Missile Bot Added to the game.
• T2 Bomber is now a slow flying, hovering, Tactical Missile plane that can out-range defenses.
• Tactical Missile Launcher fires faster, requires not energy and shortened range.
• T2 Sniper Bot can now shoot down Tactical Missiles.
• T2 Tanks have very slow turning turrets, but much more health and damage.
• T1 Assault Bots run much faster.
• T1 Bomb Bots run much faster.
• T2 Fighter removed from game.
• T1 Fighter improved.
• T1 Bomber carpet bombs.
• And much more...

I need it.

You can still use the Uber launcher if you want PTE.
