Its been awhile now so it must not be a bug but it sure looks it. The gunner and tank death animation...are they suppose to float away?
If any one should float away after they die, it sure as hell shouldnt be the 2 heaviest classes :p

Even if it was a bug, would you REALLY want it removed? I lol everytime I see it.

It's best when you see a tank launch a couple hundred feet straight up upon death.

It's best when the match ends and the last thing you see during the moneyball 'splosion is a tank that is just floating across the screen. I'm guessing someone killed him after the game ended, but it was lulz. :D

Sometimes I feel that way too. It's almost humiliation though. I don't like dying, but seeing that animation just makes it seem okay. :)

I realize that, however, the fact you mentioned it means you're classifying it as a possible bug, which I don't think it is.

    Actually, I lied.

It's best when the tank/gunner is burning as he floats.

It's by design. They have a chance when they die to have their jump jets on and thrust away.

I relate it to that episode of Venture Brothers where Race Bannon dies and Brock tells the Venture Brothers how people loosen their bowels upon death.

So the tank and gunner's relaxation of muscles upon death cause them to jet away hilariously.

I now demand that a quiet farting sound be added to floating dead tanks and gunners.
