I have tried twice now, and it seems like there is a bug with the launcher, when using a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 (maybe 8.0 too for that matter) the launcher simply won't produce a screen. It seems to start but it never shows anything. You might want to update the launcher to detect if anything that it needs is missing. Do I need to install DirectX? Which version? Do I need a VCRedist file? If so, which one? etc.. Things like that I hope I didn't bring bad news late in the production.. but this could possibly be a show stopper. Best regards/ Mike
UPDATE: I downloaded and installed the June 2010 DirectX Redistributable from Microsoft (Here, if it helps someone: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109) And the launcher now works. And so does the game. But Like I stated in my original post, it could be good to check if the player actually got the DirectX version needed installed Best of luck, and I am really exited about the game you guys have created.
