Whenever i start a new game, (Me Vs. AI) i see the planet as it normally, then the screen flashes and the whole planet surface turns blacks and dark and i can't see the terrain. I know this is just a bug and i wish the developers the best of luck to fix it. I enjoy the game, bugs and all but it will obviously be better when it is all ready to go. Thanks.

    Disable SAO in graphics options.

By SAO do you mean Shadows and Ambient Occlusion? And if so, they are both set to off and I still have the same problem.

This sounds like out of date graphics drivers to me rather than the SAO bug.

    Yep you have old drivers:
    Code:
Card name: AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
    Driver Date/Size: 9/29/2010 23:12:42, 37376 bytes
You need download and install latest drivers from AMD website.
    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 7 - 64
Unfortunately AMD broken their crappy website once again so link is not working.

So just get "Latest Beta Driver" from this page:
    http://support.amd.com/de-de/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 8 - 64
