Hello MNC Community, I'm very sure this has been mentioned countless times, however it would be very nice to have a few new gamemodes to play with as well as larger teams. For larger teams, 12v12 would seem a nice option, although 6 is the amount of different classes there are, or if you're really excited why not allow 16v16. Heres a list of gamemode suggestions: Conquest - Capture and Control areas, setting up Turrets on points. No Bots, instead allow bigger teams such as 12v12 or 16v16. Gain and Lose Resources depending on how many control points your team, two teams total, is in control of and how many times team members have been killed. CTF - Capture the Flag, or something more hilarious than a flag seeing as how this game is very comical and full of satire. Bigger teams and possibly bots, wouldn't be too nice having to defend bots if they have the flag or if they are the only ones able to hold the flag. If player is flag-holder then they cannot use special abilites (X,Y, and Z). Turrets establishable around flag spawn. It would be wonderful if these at least got considered or thought over. I am hoping for a future MNC where there are larger amounts of players on each team allowed and more gamemodes for multiplayer!
No bots means Assassin is rendered almost useless, and Tank might have some problems approaching other players in some more open or linear areas. Plus it effectively makes the game TDM which is what it's trying to avoid like as if it's associated with the plauge. Also makes snipers bigger win material since they can't be punished by either letting bots go unharmed and have less to keep tabs on, allowing him to just camp moar.
Last I checked, Assassins are more for anti-player as they kill in one single behind-grapple. So long as the Tank doesn't charge in from the front of the battle, where all the action is, then he shouldn't have a problem. You might be forgetting the Support-Tank combo. During a crossfire match, most people go for Kills over match objectives so avoiding TDM has already failed in a way. However, I highly doubt this game is trying to completely avoid TDM or what you call the 'plague'. Sniper is already a camping class, because it's meant to. You wont deal the same amount of damage playing sniper like you would Assault - it's more of a stay behind and lay low kind of class which avoids any sort of medium or close range confrontations with the ability of traps. This has, however, shone some new light on my suggestion for a Conquest gamemode. Bots do seem to add a bit of liveliness to the game, allowing the players or 'Pros' to duke it out and enjoy some deathmatch while the bots take care of the objectives or give the player extra firepower. I guess I would then suggest bots spawning from captured control points which aid in capturing opposing control points and are also restricted by resources.
No offense but you clearly don't know how the assassin works if you believe she should be devoting her time to assassinating. Assassins need bots in order to efficiently build juice. Juice is almost half the reason good assassins make a difference on a team. But so long as you know bots are literally the lifeblood of this game. I mean, they're the blood that flows their the veins that are the lanes. I'm not playing this game for deathmatch. I'm playing this game because the classes have defined roles to excel in that don't always involve killing.
Lol, considering I found out the word "assassin" was created by crusaders to describe "warriors high on hash, killing in a dream", "assassinating" sounds like a crazy combo of getting high and slashing like crazy. Which btw, means that "Assassin" is not the incorrect term for her, it's just people who are wrong in thinking it means "to kill people" rather than "to kill in a unique or unusual style" ala "ninja" or "acrobatic storm of sword swings" that aren't exclusively harmful to human flesh, instead of bots.
Look man, I'm not gonna debate the definition of her title. I'm just saying she builds juice crazy fast and that's important to her meta-game. Bots are a reliable source of juice and pros are a risky source for it. With juice, she is one of the best at destroying turrets and base defense. Other pros can do it, but she can earn juice much more easily and do much more reliable damage against heavily fortified defenses. If you want to think the assassin is meant for anti-pro duties, fine. I've watched Xeno play assassin and he gets tons of kills as an assassin. But the point still stands that bots are a vital part of the game.
While I think that the basic premises are sound I agree with leaving the bots in the game as its important to balance if nothing else. I wouldn't mind a gridiron type game where you need to carry a package from the mid point on a map into the enemy base. Obviously there would have to be some sort of balancing and such to make bots important, as well as prevent things like prevent dashing/boosting while carrying the package, to help balance the speed of the Assassin and Tank/assault boosts.
I propose a new Co-Op Mode/Blitz! Something like how there are 3 areas where the moneyball will hover from. The Moneyball moves from each one randomly between rounds. I don't know how many Turret Nubs though this one Blitz map would have though Not much thinking went into this lol.
not commenting on new game modes but the player number/class limits should all be available options/settings for LAN/Offline mode imo
