I've just played Galactic War for the first time and thought it was great fun. Appreciate that it's still in Gamma so perhaps this is an issue that will resolve itself, however, I would appreciate any hints or tips on getting to other planets successfully (not just specific to GW but in general too). Having killed most the enemy on my starting planet, I needed to some how breach the others in the system to get to the commanders there. I tried several times to load up an advanced fabber and deposit him on a seemingly remote spot, however within moments of doing so, bombers appeared and took him out before I could do anything. I tried scouting the planets surface but would often have the orbital transporter destroyed by the umbrella defense and eventually gave up. I appreciate that GW is random and each time it might make it easier/harder to do such things, but I would imagine playing just a skirmish against the AI or another player, that somehow getting a foothold onto another planet could be tricky, when the enemy is already well established. Any helpful tidbits from other people on how they manage this?
You aren't thinking big enough! Invading established planets requires a large army. Here's how I do it. Build no less than 100 Astrauses. Fill half of them up with anti-air vehicles/bots, and the other half with fabricators – a mix of basic and advanced, if you have advanced unlocked. Land all of them in a spot where there are no metal extractors or buildings. Build a teleporter as soon as all the units land and link the teleporter to a teleporter on your main planet and rush units through. Then with your fabricators on the invaded planet, build defensive structures and factories and send your attacking army in all directions.
That's a general rule that applies to all of PA. Never stop building more! Never stop expanding, and never stop increasing your build power.
Puny Or Big what are you? Anyway orbital launcher helps alot! And i might aswell add this in: When i rewatch some replay i usely laught looong and HARD! over tiny littel outpost`s bases 30 min ingame.(I kid) They are soo cute Kinda like how u laugh at my spelling
Nukes, endless nukes, make half of planet a glass radioactive parking then invade just for fun. If you cannot nuke make lots of astreus, pack with inferno and unload on enemy commander. All you needd is about 10 to survive they will make nice bbq out of that tincan. Or make proper honorable invasion, but there is no honor among machines, its silly human thing.
