Is anyone else encounter a problem where they Jump to a system in Galactic War, and then are stuck and cannot perform any other actions. I can click on planets, and select them. Music still plays as well, so its definitely not locking up. But: No leaving, no exploring, no jumping, nada.
I let it enabled in all my tests and had no issues from it whatsoever. No idea how it would crash your whole game. There's no way it should be able to do that.
Gameplay: Fixed commanders getting stuck when moving out of the way to build a structure. My commander was doing nothing while standing on his own building spot, so this doesn't always work yet. No problems for the rest so far, pathing seems A LOT better now and I LOVE THE GALACTIC WAR!!! And no mention of friendly AI as they are in the Galactic War?
My first galactic war came to shrieking halt when I discovered that massed astreus are bugged. You can reproduce this by making several astreus, load them up and give unload order to other planet. They donĀ“t drop their cargo. My enemy was fortified to several moons with planes, and I had no other tech than naval, which was useless on a system containing only moons. pls fix orbital transport My UI is still laggy and now there is some random panning too.
In GW, the loading of a system never stops. (The very first time, it worked the second time) Hiding the UI (ctrl + u ) doesn't hide unit icons A moon's orbit isn't aligned with its circe around the planet. Is the lighting on the units correct? It seems too shiny. Does a part of the money go to the guy in collaboration or is all the money going to uber? There is still the metal spot icon bug
Good news everyone, the bomb bot pathing A-move has been fixed. Bow before the now most powerful unit in the game. On normal difficulty GW, the AI doesn't build factories Actually it built one in my third game. I was destroying the commander before it builds its first factory. That build is just sub-sub-sub-optimal. The announcer said "Insufficient metal" before i select my starting point.
It isn't likely that you would earn back as much as the backed amount PA doesn't have a playerbase size of the same magnitude as DoTA2 or TF2. I think it's a nice way of rewarding them for their support. (also, that spider commander looks fantastic)
Uber guys surely like bolognese sauce. My PA crashed after a long game (and epic) in GW with lots of units. @zweistein000 @garat I found the metal spot icons and health bars! They are displayed in orbital view. Orbital unit icons are not displayed when they are in interplanetary travel. Starting locations not on the primary planet don't have the green disc near the ground, there is only the white circles animation. Oh boy, my commander dodged a planet smash in that 1v5.
Does anyone else with linked accounts no longer have their Steam user name in game? Edit: Seems you can change your display name in the status section of the social features.
Could we keep mod broken discussions elsewhere? I'd like the focus to be on the build. Assume, until full retail launch, that mods will likely break in most major update builds. They muddy up the discussion in our main threads though. We'd like to know what's actually broken in the game, not in mods.
Really interesting AI bug... a commander in an Astraeus came to an orbiting planet at about 12 minutes into the game, and proceeded to sit there orbiting in one spot for the rest of the game. Didn't even care when I started deconstructing the Astraeus. Looking at the replay, the Astraeus entered orbit from deep space at the planet's surface (like spawned from the ground) whilst gripping the commander, floated up to orbit through the air layer, and then sat there without a care in the world.
