Uber team, will we ever see the commander concept in the trailer video below? It could be the generic commander everyone has by default as it's relatively simple, but still has a cool design.

To get back on topic... Who knows. Probably not. The Kickstarter trailer was a concept trailer. No art in that video was final, and almost everything within that trailer looks different in the end game – and I like it this way.
I'm 90-percent positive that's just a visualization of the Delta Commander, which is currently in the game. I'll ask Steve when he gets in and try to get you something precise. Pretty cool, though, right? I want an Uber-blocky Commander , too.
I don't see the problem with the commanders we have now.... is there any problem with the commander "concept"?
My question is directed at Uber, not mod developers. I'm asking that the kickstarter commander be included amongst the commanders we already have. Modders can't do this, as I'm sure you know. Awesome!! That would be great! Blocky commanders ftw
No we can, I've already rigged the entire commander in fact. Also, there's a group of modders that plan on making a server for people to put commanders on so that if you have a custom commander everyone with the mod will see it. Quite ingenuous but also a little evil.
Well that's pretty dang cool! I would still like to see more commanders available in the standard game though.
