For some reason, i'm getting 2 messages whenever someone inputs one....not sure what to do about this one lol

    Errr....double chat.png

And not to mention the fact that metal icons are totally off even while refreshing....and black-screen at beginning... O.O

I see you have mods installed.

Try uninstalling them and see if the issues persists.

And if it does turn out to be mods, please post a bug report to the thread for that mod.

Ok, so i might know what the issue could be, two monitors
so i did as you guys told me, and i tested all the mods and none of them had ever affected the game (also turning all off and painfully getting my hotbuild back in order
still very lost though =( i dont mind the 2 messages at once, but the metal icons is crippling on every planet especially metal

It's not dual monitors, I've had the problem for a while and upgraded from single to dual monitor during that time. I havn't tested if it's a mod problem yet as it hasn't annoyed me too much :p It has been happening for a good 3-4 months now for me though.

That is a bug that is a result of using an outdated version of rEventHandler mod. An update was never uploaded to pamm so yours never got updated, but this issue has been fixed for quite some time now.

That's a bit more tricky to fix, because you can't. But there is a workaround I'm using, it will make your mex glow relly bright if you have zoomed in enough but I will also make ground scatter (rocks and such) glow too.

I'm still using it because that's better than not seeing at all.

Go to Planetary Annihilation Launcher\Planetary Annihilation\stable\media\shaders and backup your prelight_normal.fs file, then replace the original with the file in my attachment.

I'm also working on a mod that will make them more visible on the light side of grey/white planets.

Just posting to keep an eye on this thread in case this has to do with the eventhandler - just in case (I am pretty sure I fixed the issue back then)

You did, but you should upload the updated event handler to PAMM, if you haven't already.

well, in PAMM when i turned it off, the bug stopped but when i turn it back on the double messages happened again.
found a new bug, when i was watching a Zaphod game, there were healthbars, i dont really need healthbars, but those are also *turned on in options but doesnt work in game* =( well Gamma is Gamma

I simply uninstalled the mod and then reinstalled and it fixed it up for me.

ok this is frustrating, even with mods off, dont have metal icons, nor healthbars/builbars
