    Nope.

Can you give us some information about your computer specs? OS, Sound card, motherboard, speakers, headphones?

If you have multiple sound devices, the engine might be using one that doesn't have your speakers connected to it.

    Just a guess.

Im Playing on an ASUS M70 VM-C1 Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate 64x, the sound is not muted. Im not sure what sound card i have. I brought up my Device manager window and when i look at sound NVIDIA High Definition Audio, Realtek High Definition Audio, and Unimodem Full-Duplex Audio device show up. Sorry for not knowing more.

If you click on the speaker icon in your system icon tray, select Playback devices, do your speakers show as the default device?

Try going to the playback devices list again and go to the properties for your speakers. Click on the Advanced tab. Is the default format set to something other than "16bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)"? If it is, what is it set to, and can you try changing it to that setting and running the game again?

If that doesn't fix it, can you please e-mail support@uberent.com with your launch.log and a dxdiag?

See this post on the steam forums for where to find the files:
