well it says quote - "big rock" feature - /quote then quote - big rock feature - / quote ... so the least we can assume its moveable planetoid related ... so i would say possitionable planetoids minimum ...
the question i have to ask though is ... how much does it change current gameplay ? without having UC`s or eventualy crossplanetary artillery it would merely (no i don´t want to downplay this at all) allow for shorter traveltimes for orbital units ... aaaand that´s it ... until further being expanded ...

It might not be moving planet related.
All they say is that A: it'll change the game a fair bit and B: we've been waiting for it.
For all we know it could be as big as galactic war or as small as submarines, we'll just have to wait and see.

Well if big rock were taken overly literal, it might just be the ability to make radius 4000 planets.
I'm still rooting for asteroid belts, but we'll see, either way I'm really looking forward to it!

My guess is ranked ladders or galactic war or asteroid belts.

Will this update be in the stable build, or PTE?

for it to be announced like that i would think stable ... there wasnt anything said it being pte only ...
