We Added A New Private Forum For The Vanguards

S'up guys! Just a heads up: we've added a new private node to the forums for the Vanguards to plan, organize, and collect their thoughts related to community matters. For the last, like, three or so months they've been using our PM system and kinda piecing together what they need in order to bring ya'll their newsletter and consultations. Hopefully, a new forum will help them stay more organized and whatnot. Basically, they'll just be doing the same thing but with more leg room.

Why announce this, Brad? Thanks for asking imaginery audience! Because sometimes folks get freaked out when private things suddenly appear and no-one says anything until it's discovered. There's no conspiracy here. The Vanguards aren't lizards with flesh masks secretly guiding when things like, say, secondary color selection come back into Planetary Annihilation.

Oh! And on that subject: secondary colors are coming back in soon(tm), but they needed a re-work. We had to minimalize the amount of secondary color being shown so the primary colors read better. Remember those times when you were like is that red or blue team? No more! Hopefully!

Why not? I think every combination should be allowed, as long as it doesn't confuse players.

Yeah! That was the argument for secondary team colors in the office. We just needed to pound out a solution to the problem. I want to give credit to Ben and Eka for getting it all sorted.

I don't think robots look good when painted with highly contrasting saturated colours, they look like toys that way IMO

I find it fits nicely with the aesthetic of the game, if they dulled the colors a bit, and added some scratches, It would look fine, IMO.
