Can I Get Beta From Anywhere?

Hi due to tech problems i cant play the new gamma builds, however beta still worked, so i was wondering if theres a way to get old builds, i know i wont be able to play multiplayer but i can still play AI... and i have brought the game so dont get pissy, i really enjoyed the small amount of time i had with PA and would like to continue even if it is only with beta.

Currently I don't think you can get old builds, but with the new launcher, the goal is to make that possible, if not easy to do. So currently, no. But soon? Maybe!

Unfortunately no, Uber is only running servers for the most up to date builds, your best bet is to try to get help solving the tech issue if you haven't already.

well i dont spose anybody has the latest beta? doesnt need to be cracked i have my login details...

That won't work. All the pre-release build need to have servers hosted by Uber, a pirated version will essentially be non-functional because it won't have any servers to connect to.

I don't think Uber will ever host the alpha builds again somewhere.

And you can't play such a build, anyways, because everything is running on Uber's Servers (even the ai).

So all you can really do is fix your problem unfortunately

my computer is special, is the short explanation.
long is that my video card is out dated and after fruitless hours searching for an update, iv come to the conclusion that there isn't one. dxdiag included so if you find the solution ill love you forever.

Nah, we didn't really help. However, help is easily within our abilities. Start by telling us what technical problems prevent PA from running.

Because they are definitely technical problems. People have only been able to run PA faster since beta, not slower. It has only sped up. You should have the same, a better working version of PA, not a worse working one. The problem is definitely technical, possibly a barely outdated driver even? Post in the Gamma Bugs subforum or even here, and at least try to have it sorted out.

Remember, fixing the technical issue lets you play PA now, and now has never been a better time to play PA.

EDIT: Oh thank you, after looking at you Dxdiag, it is a special case. A lifebook? laptops tend to be specific with their drivers. I will page @SXX to see what he can find. If PA starts up, that should run it just about on par with my own desktop which in fact runs it fine.

and if your trying to help, ill give you a little more info, i can start it fine, get into the starting screen... select my commander ect, but i cant join lobbys, as soon as i do i get PA. exe has stopped working.

Ok, so from your Model it seems you have a Intel Videocard... HD3000 or HD4000 depending on the CPU.

Although it is most annoying not to be able to play a game you have paid for, PA has an excellent community who can probably help you with your problem. Credit goes to SXX for all solutions.

I looked up previous posts that you have made to see if you have attempted to get gamma working and I found that while you have posted some errors you have not replied to any solutions so I will re-post those here as well as an additional possible solution.

The first solution would be to update your drivers. To update drivers download and install "win64_153318.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23714

If for some reason you are unable to update your drivers, try running PA with the --software-ui flag. This may fix the Coherent UI crash you were having.

@SXX might be able to check that out and see if it is the problem and if it is fixable. It mentions opengl support and the lack thereof. Just not sure that would have changed from beta.

alright, not had this suggestion i dont think, what is this "--software-ui flag" you speak of?
