Don't know if any snipers have noticed but it seems assassins hitbox for their head is a little off. On countless occasions an assassin will be standing there, still, shooting their stars or buying their skills. I would take aim and aim directly at their head, but it doesnt hit, it doesnt even count as a body shot. Are assassins made this way on purpose because i have headshotted them only a few times but i havent really aimed directly at their head. Just seems a little buggy and was wondering if it was intended or something.
It's generally a better idea to always aim around the neck or so. Tanks are a pain to headshot especially if they are using the pyro mask.
Not all classes. The tank and sin yeah and imo supports a little tricky to headshot, might just be me though.
Yeah true. Just hate sniping sins, you pretty much HAVE to just aim for the body and hope after the first hit they havent dashed off.
I seem to have more luck jump shotting assassins for some reason, it's like it magically fixes the hitbox head issues.
I've never seen a sniper get a headshot on an assassin unless it was just after they grappled someone or they were standing still. Personally i'm surprised you even try. Either kill them with AoE damage or bodyshot them.
I usually land headshots on assassins fine, but it does seem like most of the "Oh seriously?" fail headshots are on assassins.
yeah i dont go for headshots on them anymore. i generally try to aim for their neck now but still only land body shots. And who else thinks its hilariously funny to spam bullets at your jackbot to kill an assassin ^.^ even spam it at your teammates while theyre getting grappled is so fun
