Loveassassin's Bug and Glitch List

    Relax we where just messing around, i guess Justin asked about the age of his Xbox because the older the Xbox is the greater the chance of it to perform worse because of overuse or something. Thats how electronics works i'm afraid :(

    Then i made the PC comment because older PC means that you have older versions of a Hardware product which might not work on new games.

    The lag you may be referring to in big battles could be one of a few things:

    1. Someone activated the annihilator while the enemy team had a lot of bots.

    2. 3 or more people all activated juice at the same time and are unleashing hell in about one spot.

    3. Just a bad host.


    As to the people flying off into the sky sometimes when they die, that is all part of the design.


    Most if not all of these issues are already noted.

    Here is one for the assassin though:
    -If your passive is at level 3, you should not take falling damage. But if you smokebomb jump and then stealth in the air your cloak will show up when you hit the ground as if you have taken damage. It is extremely annoying but for the most part I've gotten used to it.

    If you use smoke bomb as assassin while in freeze trap you can do a megajump. also the ice will stay on your character until you die.

    There is a bug where if you mash buttons during the respawn screen, the UI dissapears

    Okay, updating the post, also, like I said, the framerate issues also happen in single player so it isn't usually lag. I'm not violently complaining about it, I am just throwing it out there that I have framerate drops when alot of bots are around.

    One bug I noticed involving host migration was with my endorsements. Prior to the host disconnecting I had a custom support class chosen. After the host migration everything was intact, except my endorsements were different. I remember one being clip size, which I don't think is an endorsement even on the default support class, so it appears that it was random. Along the same lines, my friend actually had his class changed during a host migration. He was a gunner when the host disconnected and when it started back up again he was an assassin. All his abilities and money were reset as well, he wasn't happy.

    Same thing happened to me during a host migration, except it was both my class and my team that changed.

    Was a red Assault, and we had their moneyball down and hurting within about 5 minutes. Host and most of their players quit, after the whole host migration thing, I was a blue Assassin. Whaaaa.....?

    Interestingly, as an assault I had 1 point in my passive and one in my X button, which when I became an assassin it gave me 1 point in the same, passive and X button skills each. Could be coincidence or somehow carried over in a weird way. But yeah, was really weird.

    Just wanted to say this happened to me (assassin) in a game just now -

    Since the fire did not do any damage, I assumed it was a graphic bug, but I believe that I tried to move around cloaked and was being shot at.

    I also believe this happened to another team member (an assault)

    Edit: Forgot to mention that during this game (while burning) at some point I was in permanent dash. Also I did not die after the affect, so I can't confirm if dieing would have fixed it.

    I'm not entirely sure if this is a true "bug" or not, but one game as a Tank with level 3 charge, I went up against an Assault with their own level 3 charge. We finally got into charge range, and we both used our classes charges and we colided. For some reason though, I, as a TANK, got grappled, but I could still see the firey outline from my own charge.

    Now, being decked out in a futaristic set of cybernetic armor, shouldn't I plow through someone in a jumpsuit? This just doesn't seem right to me, almost wondering if UBER noticed this.

    Another bug/glitch: Right after a team won a crossfire match, host left the game and host migration failed to find another host. Once that happened it tried to take me back to the main menu. But it took me back to this screen (I doubt this happens often, but i think it is worth posting) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEbeCzBuD4k

    Found a few general bugs, as well as support based bugs. I apologize in advance for it being so long haha


    Support Bugs


    • Sometimes when throwing a sentry down it will disappear. Mostly, if not all the time, when you throw it too close to a wall or a higher ledge.
    • Sentry gun cannot recognize an enemy if they are looking at you through a window on the same level. In other words its as if the sentry gun recognizes something in the enemies stomach, and if that is covered by the window, the enemy does not exist.
    • The heal stream will graphically show that it is healing or hurting someone when it in fact isnt. Usually happens when you dance around the limit of the gun but will still show graphically even if you move closer, when it in fact is not.
    • If you fire the shotgun immediately after pulling it out it will graphically fire, you will see the bullets hit the person(if you aimed right) but it will do no damage at all. This can be very frustrating if its a sneaky assassin behind you since a closeup shotgun will kill in one hit.
    • On that same note there are tons of times where I will fire, see it hit the person and do no damage at all. Not entirely sure if its lag based because I see no stuttering or skipping around but its possible.
    • If you are taunting and you have the heal gun equipped you can still heal whatever is in front of you, it shows as a blue beam coming out of your butt. You can do this while hacking as well.
    • Also the taunt with the heal gun is noticeably longer than with the shotgun, not sure if this is intentional or not. Its just frustrating when im tryin to MAKE SOME MONEY and it gives someone a lot more time to shoot me in the face.
    • If there is a turret that has been destroyed and you try and throw an air strike marker over it it will stick to the turret nub even if you give it about 2-3 feet of clearance. This is a problem when you're trying to attack the money ball on laser razor arena because the nubs are right next to the wall partially surrounding the ball.
    • If you try and grapple after firing the shotgun you have to wait as long as you would have had if you were to fire the shotgun again. Not sure if this was part of the design or not, but its annoying :|

    General Bugs/Glitches


    • Not sure if this is a bug, but there are certain nodes on the laser razor arena where if you place longshot there it will try and shoot a node in the other base but will hit a wall. So it will just continually shoot the wall until either it dies, or someone kills the other turret.
    • Jackbot apparently has eyes in its "handguns", if half its body goes around a corner and sees something or a turret, it will stop and shoot it. One round will shoot the turret the other will hit the wall.
    • I did run into the glitch where you are joining a game and after the loading screen it shows the MNC sign in front of the sky. I believe it is caused by joining a game on the ammo mule arena(I think) that has just ended. Normally at the end of the map it zooms around the arena and ends up on that sign in that position. In this case joining after the game ended or as it ended froze me on that.
    • I have had the death menu persist upon respawning. It only happens when I go to change class, it might have something to do with going to change your class and then ending up choosing the same one. It goes away if you click on change class after u respawned and choose your same class again.
    • I also have it where when i choose a different class when I die the death menu completely disappears, and my respawn timer is extended at least 5 seconds.
    • There are points on several maps that have points accessible to jetpacks that make it unfairly hard to kill them. I would be more specific but I cannot remember the map names and I cant find them anywhere online. There are points above the spawn entrances or on that general building on at least 3 maps that I've seen. You can also get on top of the walls on the second floor of the walls surrounding the money ball on the dark map with the large dome, this particular one cannot be airstriked off from easily. You would have to be quite precise since there are no floors near it to hit.
    • Not sure if this is a glitch or just a case of people not being used to the game but on that same map, the dark one with the large dome, assassins can sit back and spawn literally HORDES of gremlins which will run around and pretty much kill everyone. A specific case of this happened and the individual went ~28-kills ~25-assists and 1 death.
    • I had one instance where I was injured and was fighting against an assault, and literally right after he charged at me he died but his body kept flying towards me. It struck me and killed me, I don't believe he got credit for it because it just showed a blank and then the image for...falling death or something not entirely sure and then my name. This was more funny than anything but still, it either shouldn't happen or he should get credit for the kill.

    50% of the above is intended by the developer, like the wait after changing classes, you are LOCKED for 5 or more seconds after changing classes, bringing up the menu to change also increases respawn time.

    Most of this has been covered in another thread, but alot of this is in the design of the game, like longshots shooting the wall, you placed a longshot in a bad spot, they have a certain range.

    The glass is a wall for all purposes, you cant shoot through it, so no a turret cannot sense through it..
