So I had a few bad games and I guess stuff spreads really fast (I didn't troll or anything, I just didn't do very good for my team) and now it seems like nobody wants me on their team. More and more people are leaving when I join their team and it's really frustrating.

They assume that just because I suck sometimes, I always suck. It's not true; it just depends on the map, status of game, teammates, etc.

So I was wondering, is it possible to get a name change and start 'anew' now that I'm a lot better at this game then I used to be?

My name is pretty vulgar and 'standing out in the wrong way' now that I think about it...

And if you have linked the account to Steam you can simply change your Steam Display Name.

Oh it's not linked yet even though I bought the game off steam. Thanks a ton! Not sure what I'll change it to but it'll probably be something alone the lines of MeowMix lol.

Just keep in mind that you can't change your forum name, so people could be confused if you start playing under one name and posting with another.

Forum name is fine; it's not the people on the forums causing me problems. Also, I changed it, and it's not showing up (the new name) in-game (I did restart obviously). Any ideas?

EDIT: Turns out it was linked even though I thought it wasn't. Went ahead and changed my Steam name and that fixed the problem. :p

Heh, that's what we call one of my friends at school.

Anyways, what did you do that was so bad that no one wants you?

He could have pissed someone off on a popular stream

Going to be honest with you guys, I don't know what I did. The only thing I did that was intentionally bad was when I Commander Bombed (suicide commander attack) someone on a Commander Boxing map (super tiny planet with WAY too many players). And I only did it because we had to have a couple of A.Is and one of them ruined all my plans, so I decided to just go all YOLO on the currently strongest player.

I have played with people who have streamed but I didn't play bad none of those times. Like I said, I honestly have no idea. Maybe I was playing poorly with someone who was recording for Youtube and I didn't know. Either way though, I'm not a bad person, I try to be nice to everyone, and I don't think I should have had to change my name.

It really doesn't matter what you did. If someone thinks you did something really against the rules, they can report it to Uber and it will be dealt with. Since that clearly has either not happened or Uber chose not to take any action, you don't have to explain anything to us here on the forum. I dislike constant name changes because I think recognizable names bring the community together, but sometimes it's just necessary. Good luck in your future games!
