How about adding a 3rd button to the energy orders menu: "turn fabrication off for 30 seconds" ? Normally when you want to finish something now you turn off other fabricators to focus production. But after the important thing is finished you have to select the stopped units and activate them again. This button would save you the resuming; it would deactivate the fabrication and resume automatically after 30 seconds. Something like this:
They should add something like this but with customizable options too for those who prefer 60 seconds ect
it could be modded if added, and added through a mod tbh. I would like also, a priority setting too, so when power or metal is scarce, nonvital things turn off. In order of 1st turns off, then 2nd turns off, then 3rd turns off. Maybe also make things inhereit resource priority from their fabber or make it 2 sidebar options.
Yes that would be very helpful too! Or 1 button to just immediately prioritize a fabrication so that it gets all required resources and the remaining resources are divided over the other fabbers.
How about if shift clicking the icon turned it off for 10 seconds intervals? One shift click for 10, two for 20 etc.
On the topic of timing-based commands, it would be cool if you could queue up a "wait here for 5 seconds" in an order queue by clicking the same waypoint again (and again for more time). For example, sometimes I want to queue something to build "soon" but not right now because it'll starve my econ, so I'll just send the fabber on an indirect route with some waypoints so it takes longer to get to there and start building. It would be great if I could click move to the structure location, then click it 10 times for a 50 second wait, then queue the build.
