Error_Patching Failed

    After the last update I get this message when trying to start MNC.
    Getting a error first (in Dutch) roughly translated:

    'There is no application assigned for this action, go to map options and pair this action to the application.

    Then immediately the error: Error_PatchingFailed.

    Running on a macbook pro, bootcamp in windows XP SP3.
    Has worked before the patch and I havent changed anything to the OS since then.

    Anyone any idea's?

    Have tried these steps already:

    When I received the error, I verified my game files and rebooted. That's what worked for me.

    When this happened to me I tried absolutely everything. I verified my game files, reinstalled MNC etc. Eventually I just reinstalled Steam+MNC and it worked.

    Haven't found a fix for this one yet but I think it's something to do with the patches not downloading correctly. You don't need to reinstall steam, just delete the local content and reinstall the game. Now the patch will be included in the game content that's downloaded and the game should work.

    Tried all of that

    - Verified game files
    - Deleted local content
    - reinstalled steam

    etc etc

    No go as of yet :<

    Same for me. Verified, reinstalled. Nothing.

    Is there any official advise on this yet? I've been having the same issues.

    I've tried:

    - Several restarts
    - Verifiying steam files
    - In the "run as" window I select current user and tried the check box (protect my computer etc) both checked and unchecked.
    - delete local content and reinstall
    - delete local content, remove the unreal folder from mydocuments/games and removed the MNC folder from steamapps, reinstalled.
    - reinstalled the binaries, C++, directx and physix

    After all this still no result.

    I'm running XP SP3.

    I've been playing the beta for over a week with no issues what so ever so it looks like something happened with the release patch

    I've now managed to get MNC running. All I did was to constantly try to start the game. After something like 10 patching failed messages the patching finaly completed. The game then started to crash after the splash screen. I then verified all the steam files and success.

    I checked the patch logs and there was no pattern I could see to the patch failing different files were appearing to fail being verified.

    Any way I'm happy everything works now and I can continue to burn, shoot, slash and explode evrything in my way.

    PS. liking the new release additions to the game.

    I am gonna try this since nothing else is working out.

    Really would like to play this game. Hope i Didn't wast $15.
