Has anyone else been experiencing a lot of lag in matches? Like every game for me it either lags a little or al ot. And when i say a lot, I MEAN A LOT! I know its not me because with any other game i play it doesn't lag. Also it says my nat type is open. Is that good or bad?

As addressed in many other threads... the lag would be from your ISP or connection, open NAT simply means your settings allow for contact with any NAT type.

The game runs flawlessly for the majority of the community that have discussed it. Check out the forums and read some before starting another one of these threads maybe..

Lag happens in high-scale Blitz. On Cross, it's not so bad.

That is a test to your PC... this game is played on Xbox360.. I have said this in many ways to many gamers... Your PC and Xbox DO NOT have the same latency... I assume you are using a rounter since you pulled your ping while connected to xbox?

Often your PC being on and having even the smallest of viruses or malware can slow all other connections to your router.. There are many reasons why your Xbox may not be getting the full bandwith your PC does.

Well my xbox and pc share the same Ethernet cable(one that goes to a router) so i had to unplug it from the 360 to use the internet so i Don't think that having my computer on is a problem. However i did just play a match and there was no lag. I also checked to see if my Ethernet cable was all the way in since the little pin on the connector part of the cable( the part that goes in the pc or 360) is broken off. I think that may have been the problem but i'm not entirely sure.

Yes.. faulty equipment will cause issues... Cat5 is like 20 bucks for 100 feet or cheaper online.. Get a new cable bro! or get 2 so you dont have to move it back and forth.. whats the point of a router if you dont use it??

    Good luck.

Most of the lag is just when you have a host who lives a little far away or is sharing a connection with someone else, it can't really be helped unless you limit all matchmaking to <50 ping but good luck finding a full match in a game like this when that happens.

I have had no issues with lag, but i'm feeling people may be getting confused with the drop in frame rate that happens in sticky situations. This would defiantly be the case in blitz..

I experienced lag last night in a few games, notably when I would go from one height to another I would then attempt to go somewhere else and after a few seconds find myself on the lower level again and no where near where I was headed.

Also happened as assasin if I didnt get a grapple I would miss one and then BAM find myself somewhere else. Never had a lag issue before

I have only played a few matches that suffered from lag. Some even cleared up after a minute or two. Here's to hoping my luck continues! *knocks on wood*

For all intents and purposes we can say drop in frame rate is encompassed by lag. Lag includes a multitude of results, usually with drop in frame rate. I do think ppl meant frame rate reduction when they say lag, but the effect is more or less the same.

I usually experience a frame rate drop when the annihilator is used, especially during overtime. Or when several people juice at once.

Personally, I can tell the difference between lag and frame rate droppage. Frame rate, the game still responds correctly, just slower. Plus, everyone experiences the frame rate drop, including the host. Lag is a whole lot worse cuz you can easily "warp" to some other place entirely, or be killed and not see it til seconds later. Other minor lag can simply be a delay from when you shoot and when the game records you shooting. To me, there is a huge difference between the two, but both can ruin the experience.

Yeah, I did noticed when JUICED with the Tank last night in Overtime, Frame Rates where slower and that's to be expected when crazy things are going on. The screen was full of carnage and rage, which I was thoroughly enjoying to a certain extent. If only I could encompass the Berserk Mode of "Brick" from Borderlands when JUICED with my Tank :D

To any given ip address they most certainly do.

The first day of release I had lag in one match, since more and more people have bought it I get lag in almost every single game I play and it's really starting to put me off. A couple of seconds ago two assaults were attacking me, one was stood in my face and I fired a whole minigun clip into him and he just stood there staring at me.

Everything catches up and surprise surprise I'm the one who somehow lost that lag fight. I'm thinking about leaving the game until they've patched it up to get rid of this, it's unplayable.
