    personaly liked the first one more but it cant be helped if units cant propperly get through it ...

    Dislike, the ramp made it much more theatrical, now it has a bland look. Plus I really realy don't know where this supposed "units getting stuck issue" comes from and why it wasn't just bugfixed instead of making a new model.

    and the old model could have gone into the water just fine the ramps just wouldn't have been visible who cares?

    but new one is just :(

    EDIT just finished watching the stream.
    at 33 Sorian explained that it was just caused by clicking multiple times/more than you need to. and that otherwise it didn't occur. and that there were ways to fix it anyways.

    I've seen that unit bug in streams before.

    Sorian was referring to units getting caught on terrain.

    The new teleporter will help sending through about 3 times more units at a time than before.

    I think they have a good reason why they changed the model. I think - as someone else mentioned it before me - they're preparing the portal for naval teleportation ^^

    I think they had to remove the 4 "legs", because of the space it used, and ships could get stuck in it. And it's gonna be easier to use, cause the units don't have to go on a ramp, but they can go immediately in the portal.

    ugh if only they played on the right size planets they wouldn't have this issue.

    even on 200 radius planets of metal type I never had this issue.

    Well, then I have no idea. They had to have a reason, but probalby it has something to do with spacing.

    The biggest issue with the old model that's fixed by the new one was placement. You used to Have to spend extra time finding a place where it would fit. The New one lacks this issue.

    Units get stuck on terrain because the pathfinding sucks. Pure and simple. Units hang up on terrain, they hang up on structures, they hang up on me when I call. It seems to be related to lag or something. Doesn't it happen in the tournament? And then there's the commander doing his stupid walk around the block to fabricate something next door. Such procrastination, much wow.
