Just downloaded today after watching the beast battle (great matches btw). Used steam to download and install and currently trying to play. Getting black screen with sound, no cursor now but first time got a garbled block cursor. Correction to your last post in that bug entry: 10.0.4 does not have OpenGL 3.3, but OpenGL 3.1. OpenGL 3.3 is part of 10.1.
This doesn't make sense. Most likely only feature Mesa 10.0.4 missing from OpenGL 3.2 and 3.3 it's geometry shaders and PA don't use them. After (if) game start become compatible with 3.2 core profile it's will work with older Mesa versions woth MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=3.2.
I'm explained in prior post. It's doesn't make sense for PA. It's doesn't mater what version of OpenGL is supported 3.1 or 4.4. It's won't work anyway because Mesa doesn't have compatibility profile support. PS: Also it's funny that this topic originally related to gamma correction and I had no idea Uber want to call new version of game "Gamma".
