You know you're going to replace the centurion with the Beast next patch via dem modz.

Unless you are one of those people that like the Centurion, in which case, shoo.

I didn't realized the ice planet can be nuked like this from the main one. Also didn't realize that orbital units can kill stuff like this.

ah yeah I also learnt that magic is required to make halleys work. Still don't get it.

You do realize that since then the UI changed? Back then I knew how to do it.

Why did they not launch the asteroid right after the halleys were finished? Did they forget to check if it was finished, or was there a bug? (Also, the opponents should have just nuked the halleys before they finished to get more time.)

(If you don't use the reply reply, I don't get a notification.)

The UI hasn't changed much. That video tutorial gets at least a hundred views every day – and they don't have any problem figuring it out.

Apparently Gunshin couldn't get it to launch.

It seems getting halleys to work is far from easy in the newer versions of PA. I don't know exactly what happened, but it seemed to behave like a bug. Maybe it was behaving normal and was just so unintuitive that it was too complex to understand in that kind of situation.

The video doesn't discuss clicking the little tiny red target next to a planet name. This confuses a lot of people - including me. I had to got to the forums to figure it out.

It does seem time for me to redo the video.

But seriously. It's not that hard.

It is impossible to nuke a moon from a planet it is not orbiting. If I could have nuked those halley's. I would have done it long before the second one was done. Because the orbits were *stacked*, as it were, it was impossible to nuke it. The best place to put a nuke launcher would have been the ice planet, because one could simply nuke both planets from there.

If it is a bug then it should be possible to reproduce it. And if it is a bug it's maybe possibly a rare edge case bug where the UI got into a weird case based on player behavior. Different players have different ways of moving the camera between planets and sometimes different code subsystems get out of sync.

As I always say, a reproducible bug is a fixable bug!
