I did a search and did not see anyone else was having this issue. I have sadly not been on since the last update so I don't know which update caused this error. (Or if it was an update) Edit* I am using the client and not steam. I did check the in-game volume it is at 100%. The Youtube feed videos play just fine.
I'm actually have some glitches with sound on my laptop. My personal guess that when orchestral soundtrack appear in game there was some changes related to audio playback. Can you try to disable Music in settings completely, then check if sound (without music) working?
Yeah I tried disabling the music and moving both volumes back and forth nothing helped. Set up a bug in the tracker. FS#3328 - No sound in game. SoundFx or music. [BUG]
