My guess is LAN Setup, with pre-built armies, matches to last 10-15 mins.
And an area for Toy Rush of course.

I thought they'd been pretty clear that they'd be there? I bought passes on release day back in Autumn on the basis that they would, at any rate :p

Chris wants me to bring cookies. And Breakfast Cupcakes. I don't think I'll have access to a kitchen, but I'll do my best to bring cookies. :)

I'll be there as well. My current plan for our PA setup is:

2 groups of 5 machines (4 game clients, one lobby host/spectator), with max 30 minute game sessions. The spectator machines will always have an Uber employee helping to moderate game sessions. During slow times, we may allow people to play in the system editor, but otherwise, we hope to keep game sessions going all day long.

We'll have more details at the show, but that's the general plan. :)

IF we get a connection that can manage it, we will. However, internet connections at conferences are typically crazy expensive, and none of the public connections tend to actually be reliable.

Wow, 30 minutes? I understand you can't rush an RTS style game, but isn't that going to be a long time to wait for a turn?

Well, we'll probably have a time limit and an economic booster, so we can tune it as we go. However, for this kind of game, too much shorter and you don't really get a feel for it. Also why we have a total of 8 playable stations which is about as many as we can manage in our space.

Might want to consider having some sort of countdown clock by the stations, so people that come by the booth know how much time they have to wait. They could just ask, but lets face it, with so many things to do at the convention, a quick glance at a clock is easier then asking someone.

It's also an important pastime in shipping. I need to keep in practise while I'm over there.
