Just want to know what would happen if I select a number of nuke launchers and attack a certain target. Is it launch all nukes in stock or launch one of them only if i want to launch one of them only what should i do?

If you want to launch one nuke you select one nuke launcher.

That's what the Picture-in-Picture is for. The little window icon next to chronocam in the bottom right.

You can bind them to a key for quick selection, but there seem issues with it,
I have trouble using a keybinded nuke when on another planet, they won't fire and I have to go select them manually wich is weird and anoying.

Others have suggested that ordering multiple launchers to attack should only launch one nuke. Then you can just select all your nukes, and hold shift while you queue up multiple nuke targets. I don't know whether or not this functionality has been confirmed by Uber yet or not though.

A thought I had was an area command for nukes. So when you area attack a planet with nukes, it'll evenly distribute across the planet. It would look so cool to see 40 nukes hit a planet.:p

Some one must have thought of this before...but *shrug*, might as well say it again.

That is a smart move but I have a base on that planet too ....it's hard to exclusive my base from the explosion area.....

    It's very easy.

Just don't area attack your base.

I figure it would be awesome to have a sidebar icon for nukes, with a number in the box showing how many are ready. Instead of switching screens or views to select the nuke building, you just click on the sidebar nuke icon, and then click on the target.

Makes sense for stuff that you're not going to use anywhere near your base. But maybe this is Uber's way of nerfing the nuke a little bit. Make you work a little bit for it, cause you at least a little micro for all the damage it can do.

With how important nukes are to this game, and seeing as they only seem to get more important, they should just make a default hotkey for nuking like they have a hot key to locate the commander. Bonus if they correctly label it the "I win" button lol

you also may select all nuke launchers, select power down, give each individual attack orders, and when all are reselected and powered on, they all suddenly fire.

It's also really slow if you compare it to shift-queuing orders.

yeah, but to have them all go simultaneously to different destinations would be worth the extra setup time, just for the cool factor. if anybody's got a vid, please linky!!
