New Unit Suggestions

    Hi guys, I'm new. Finally decided to support PA, after following it through it's development.
    I really like the idea of the Flak, for some reason the TA style one: where the AoE damage doesn't understand friendly fire. so you gotta watch out not to destroy your own jets.

    a t1 mortar bot with the same range as laser towers would be awesome for giving some way to combat the walled laser tower zergs while not simply creaming defenses.

    While I do like artillery, I always pictured it as longer ranged than the typical point defense/laser tower.

    Also, on a side note you've replied to 2 posts on anti air guns, which are a little bit different from artillery.

    the point of the t1 mortar bot is to provide a feasable but not OP method to contest extremely entrenched bases.

    Dome Tank
    A Vanguard style tank with no weapons that can deploy a small dome shield that cannot be fired into or out of but units can pass through. For advancing to turrets with minimal losses to units. Counterable by sending units inside the shield.

    Back in the TA days, i seem to remember a unit mod called... kilgeroth? i may be getting the same wrong... but it had its own factory that only produced that one unit... i was a MASSIVE bot, easily 5 times as all as any other unit, but had an insainly long built time... heavy armor, AA, plasma cannons, high yield missiles... i remember one of these taking quite a few hits fom big burtha

    I believe that they should add more "space Stuff" and what I mean by that is the ability to move around in space (not orbit), to have ships that can enter/exit the planets atmosphere, and UBER(see what I did there :D) ships that are capable of carrying hundreds if not thousands of units at once. The ships would have to be VERY expensive and take quite a long time to make. Not only would they have to do that but this could open up the opportunity for an advanced space building platform which could build the ships themselves. Because of these uber ships they may also have the capability to warp to other solar systems, which could be a good way to conquer the galaxy!

    *says fast like a BUY ME thing on TV* Build-a-Astroid! at only a chost of 10 million metal and 50 million energy you can build a astroid! (you need a orbital builder sold sepertly) once you have it throw a few thrusters on and ZOOOM!

    its not a unit strictly speaking, but, planets. how about halleys use for a planet smash is only a last resource, but u can set next to a neighboring planet or even position yourself for a strategic insertion. also deployable key structures to make way for an invasion e.g. a simple radar, a small teleport, a tiny factory. and also consider orbital production with defenses (space stations) at a smaller cost (due to a higher cost in building the station)

    I think some sort of aircraft carrier that can change planets (but expensive) would be nice.

    Scrambler - Tier 2 tank
    Blocks radar in a small radius around the Jammer - Hiding expansions, hiding fabbers, hiding commanders

    Chameleon - Tier 2 bot
    Constant stealth (invisibility) mode, moves slow, but does not have a weapon, commanders can see through stealth - Good for re-conning army strength and scouting defensive weaknesses

    Jammer - Tier 2 Plane
    Disables a particular building from functioning - Target anti nuke, teleporters, turrets, and the building stops working. Of course planes are easy to take down so these would need to be supported.

    Launcher - Tier 2 Ship
    Fires super-velocity shells at orbital targets - there needs to be more (mobile) ways to deal with anchors, especially if your opponent has an orbital lock down
