This mods automaticly sets your commander to the one you selected in the armory. It also sets your color to the one you selected in the Options(UI->Favorite Color Color & Commander). It should be avaiable in the PAMM.
That's correct, it isn't merged yet, I can't add it myself unfortunately I could, but favColor doesn't work for me, so when I created the favorite Commander I added the color part
So I renamed it to Favorite Commander, since to color part was buggy and didn't really work. It is also in the PAMM atm
Yeah, I finally got around to fixing the Favourite Colour mod for gamma. It took me long enough... Anyway nice work on the commander mod. By the way, you might want to have a look at the "How to be a good citizen in JavaScript" thread. It shows you how to make a mod more robust when other mods are present by not declaring every function and variable globally.
My guess is that the game actually does use the right commander, but the lobby scene overrides that. If you don't use the lobby and just go straight to the game, the commander chosen in the armory is used. When the lobby bug is fixed, this mod's functionality will be included in the game.
Hmm, could be. But that should also mean that when the the sandbox mode is used, the right commander should be selected without this mod. Is that the case?
That's what I thought was happening. I copied a piece of code with something like model.preferredCommander().
