I realize there have been a lot of different posts about this and the common denominator is the outdated video cards. However, I feel I have a unique situation. Not only have a double checked to make sure I have the latest drivers for my video card and am still unable to actually launch the game here is where it gets a little weird. Whenever Uber launches another patch I automatically update my launcher and after it has finished updating I am able to click the play button and I am able to launch the game and even play a few games without crashing or any other problems. On the latest patch I decided to experiment and launched the game and immediately closed it after it had successfully opened. Seconds after letting the game close I attempted to re-launch the game and it gave me the exact same problem I have been facing for about the last 4-5 patches, pa.exe has stopped working. Is there something that I am missing or can fix to get the game working again?!?

I don't actually play through steam, I use the launcher itself if that helps at all. Here is the log.
I am dealing with an issue after logging in since the Gamma update. Actually the first few days it was fine, today I log into the play menu to look for a game an there is no games available nor does it show anyone on line. If i create a game i have people joining though. Any ideas?

Still have the same issue. I was just able to play another game since there was an update. After I closed the game and tried to re-launch it seconds after I closed it I got the error message saying that pa.exe has stopped working.
Still am encountering the unknown problem that causes the game to stop working immediately after launch. Help!?
Ok so after trying numerous things trying to get it to work I found a work around where if I head back to install the PA.setup to re-install the launcher itself it recognizes that there is a new version out and updates. After it finishes updating I am able to launch the game without any problems. If I close the game and try to play it again without re-installing the launcher I get the same error of pa.exe has stopped working, but all I have to do to get around that is simply attempt to install the older version of the launcher and it will update and I can launch the game again. Once again I'm not sure why I have to do this or whats wrong with the launcher but in the meantime this works fine for me.
Ok well, re-installing the launcher itself is no longer an option for me. EVERY TIME I open up the launcher to play, even right after an update, it will begin to launch the game and my screen goes black, after 3 seconds of trying to load the game the error pops up and says "pa.exe has stopped working windows is checking for a solution". I have checked and re-checked to see if my drivers are up to date (however that didn't seem to work in the past anyways) and am now unable to play the game altogether. Solutions? Here is the DxDiag.
