Hey guys, I just got this game and so love it so far. However, I don't get any spawn points when starting a game. It tells me to select a spawn point but I need to wait for a while until it auto-selects for me. Do I need to enable something? Thanks
Do you see the green, numbered spawn point circles? If not, that sounds like a bug. If you do, click in one and wherever you click will be your starting point (right now it does not make any kind of mark after you've clicked, but it registers nonetheless). If you don't pick before a set time, it will auto-select like it's been doing for you.
I do not see the green spawn circles. I've tried restarting the game and using a default system but I never see the spawn circles
FINALLY... someone else who has this... ive had this since the gamma update and i cant fix it. Ive tried new drivers/old drivers, having no mods, turning on/off cinematic mode, talking in chat and teamchat and finally reinstalling the whole game and so far nothing has worked and no one seems to have an answer for it
As bad as it sounds im glad more people are having this issue, i seemed to be the only person having the issue but now a few more people are mentioning it we might be able to find the issue
Also, I don't see any selection boxes around my units when I select them. Could it be that I disabled some part of the UI by accident? Looking through the UI settings I didn't see any obvious disabled setting....
OK, must be a separate issue then... I've noticed that sometimes (but not always) i am able to spawn my commander by randomly clicking around the planet (until I stumble upon one of the invisible spawn points, I guess).
can you still play? mine has now progressed to still having no spawn points but instead of a couple of minutes later spawning me in randomly, my game just crashes
My problem was that Cinematic mode was turned on... Hi, Same problem for me too. In the last update, everything was working perfectly. After this latest update, suddenly no visible spawn points. After a time I do spawn but I don't have any choice where. Also, I only ever used to get 2 options of spawn point no matter what system I was loading. No getting a choice of spawn point is frustrating so say the least. Aside from that, it's such a good RTS.
The latest couple of updates have made no difference unfortunately. I'm still unable to select a spawn point. This is super frustrating since I tend to spawn in shi(ty places at times.
update drivers. Try a slightly older or newer beta driver if not. After that ofc disable mods. After that, try pressing f5 when you start a game.
