Thanks, this works great! I can now continue my genocidal plan of annihilating a replica of the solar syst.... I'm sorry, I got off topic there. Again, much thanks for this workaround!

Multiple players confirmed it's as working, but there can be some specifics on Windows 8.
Let's see if somebody else report from same OS.

PS: Oops, there is report that it's working on Win8... weird. :(

Unfortunately can't help you properly because for me (Kubuntu 13.10) original file work fine.
On Linux chain of trust is a bit different so I guess it's might be reason.

I PMed link to different file, try it please.

I doubt it's related to SSL certificates. ;)

Unfortunately have no idea what can be wrong here. Any chance you able to install/update "ca-certificates" slackbuild?

I can say you absolutely seriously: this file can't affect anything in-game, try to find problem somewhere else.
My "fix" it's just update for outdated SSL CA and this file only used when your game client send some request to "uberent.com". E.g when you created game or joined it's no longer used at all.

I mostly sure Uber will push exactly same change into update.

And we're back!! Please exit out of the game and load it back up again. You should be able to log in now. :)
