mnc.exe problem, pls help

    I start the game through steam and i get this message: mnc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close...

    like 6-7 times i try to start it and say same thing every time

    im not good with computers so i dont really know what you meen with the files you want me to upload sry :(

    yea done every of those steps but not the 4th step, dont wanne mess with the files to much, as i said im not good with computers

    What kind of video card do you have? We're having issues with ATI cards and latest drivers.

    btw, i went to canirunit.com and it said i had a fast pc and it passed everything

    I am having this same issue, I went through all the steps on the list, I have an nvidia graphics card, and am fairly handy with computers. Is there just a beta/release day conflict and i should try again later? Maybe redownload tomorrow? Sorry for the weird bump but this thread seemed the most relevant.

    To OP; the issue I think has been fixed. I had a similar issue on my PC but it works fine now so you should give it a shot.

    I had this happen immediately after downloading the patch. I verified the game cache, after which it downloaded another 78mb worth of something. After that the game ran fine.

    Had to uninstall physx through the nvidia driver program (and updated the drivers) rather than just uninstalling it via the physx installer in the support folder. But it works now, issue resolved, thanks everyone!

    i'm having this problem as well, and NOTHING i do helps. Tried everything suggested and i just can't get the game to launch. if this game dosen't work soon i want a refund, especially when i have tried EVERYTHING. :x :x :x

    As much as I feel you for not being able to play the game right now, I have to point out that now after the official release there is no way that you can get a refund. I base this statement on Section 4B. of the Steam Subscriber Agreement; to quote the relevant bit (the caps are in the original Agreement so bare with me)

    ALL STEAM FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART
