This maybe just a problem with my eyes or brain or both, but I am finding the Power plant glow pulse rather annoying and distracting to my game play, is there a way to turn this off?

Super immature, yes I see. But imagine for a sec that it’s not your cup of tea, and you did wish to turn off the glowing pulse? How one would go around this, is there an option available to the end user or is this core game that cannot be changed?

Maybe you just need to get used to it, i bet after a while your brain wouldn't even notice it anymore.
The more you let yourself be annoyed by it the more you will see it.

    Okay, seriously though.
Mess around with the graphic options, if nothing happens, it can't be changed.

I'm thinking you might be able to replace the .papa files for the power generators. I remember reading @SXX say he holds on to old versions of the game. Maybe he can pack together a mod that gives you back the old art?

I am at work right now unable to fully test the options, but last I played all t1 power supplies where pulsing at the same time, it maybe not so distracting if they where pulsing on their own timer.

I really can't say it's that distracting. But try turning off "headlights" in the options, that should reduce the amount of light they give off.

Graphics options, or might be modable in some of the game files...

Pfft, what? So you're saying that the internet is full of insensible people?

    That can't be right.

Well, there's a glitch where by using certain mods, it for whatever reason disables the effect. For example install circle to line build mod by zaphodx and icedrop.. now known as disable disco mode mod.
