I'll get right to the point. I freaking love blitz mode. I play crossfire, but I have a high tendency to gravitate towards the more co-operative modes than the competitive, and I love beating my own records. In single player I ran all the way through the tons of rounds of sudden death to round 574 as a support. It's just phenomenally well designed, and keeps you engaged the whole way through, whether on your own or as a team. Sadly, very few people seem to make non-private blitz servers, and organizing a 3 person team is nigh impossible in the time afforded. What I'd like to do is, once the leaderboards are cleared again, make a blitz team of three or four dudes to try and have a good spot on the leaderboard, and just generally screw around in the process. Most of the people on facepunch are rather inexperienced in the game, and very few have even tried the blitz mode, so I figured I'd come on here to recruit some generally easygoing guys for a team, or a steam group where you could just jump in the chat and pick up a couple dudes to do some blitz. I'm not going to bother making it if nobody's interested though, or it already exists(I'd just join it).
Dunno whether you're in the EU or not. But I'd definitely join since I can't get anyone to play anything bigger than Playoff (load of pussies). Whenever I ask a friend to host they just say it's broken, and whenever I host apparently no-one can join, so it sucks a lot right now. I'm in the UK, so anywhere between western EU and east coast US is fine for me to play.
I'm in the east coast, I'll look into port forwarding to see if I can host. It'd be nice to have a tank or assassin who can clear out jackbots(which are basically my only problem in the later stages). They soak up damage and some how manage to drop the ball for just long enough to damage it before they die, even with a juiced hurt beam and four hacked rock-its pounding them.
Christ, lol. Just had a Sudden Death game and my team didn't communicate at all, so I couldn't tell if they even remotely understood what I meant. We lost in about wave 150 dead quickly because: A) They bombed the moneyball with airstrikes, which actually damages it (from what I recall elsewhere) B) They built nothing but rockit turrets, and only hacked a few of them instead of hacking all the centermost ones. C) They replaced all of the shave ice I placed with MOAR ROCKIT. Dumbasses. :/
I'm a tank for blitz, with quite a bit of experience killing jackbots. I would love to play with you sometime. BTW, I agree, there aren't enough non-private blitz servers.
Hey, saw that I'd gone down 3 ranks on the soon to be cleared leaderboard... Long story short, I'm now ranked 7th with 574 rounds, I think it's time to try out super sudden death. EDIT: turns out I can't host for some reason. If someone else can host I'm more than happy to play. I'm an experienced support with an apparent gift for keeping the turrets alive and placing my shaveices wisely.
I generally only play tank in blitz and crossfire, and I really love blitz. I can handle support, but I really feel the most comfortable with tank. I'm a pretty easy going guy, and would love to go for some high score when the leader boards reset. Last time I check I was rank 1 on SSDB going up until round 178 with support and rank 2 in SDB quitting at round 700 and making it till round 713 with tank. I've only played solo and would love to play with a group. So send PigletB12 a friend request on steam.

All I know is I doubt that I can host, my internet is not really the best. But I really would love to play with a group. I hope someone can host.
I'm hoping to get some Blitz games as well at some point. Whenever I've looked in the server browser for Blitz nothing appears. =/
