I know gremlins can do it if no one is on the ground but the odd thing is nothing is in sight.

Anyone else run into this weird problem?

Haven't seen anything like this. Maybe a new glitch. I do know how to grapple while cloaked and attack turrets but nothing about the ball.

I've noticed it a few times. I've seen my ball go down with turrets still intact, and we had complete control of the map.

It's impossible to take the ball down without bots. What isn't impossible is escorting one isolated group of bots in between two enemy bot-waves while cloaked, and then smoking their turrent right before hit range and getting the slim and two blackjacks onto the ball for a down. It takes either an amazing amount of skill or an amazing amount of luck.

Edit: The easiest level to do this on is Grenade III, due to the poor line-of-sight. The second easiest is Steel Peel, due to the proximity of the botspawn to the ball.

Bots usually stop at a turret to take it down, unless it's being upgraded, so I doubt it was an Assassin escorting bots, must be some sort of glitch

Buzzers will also do it very rarely.

I've also seen errant jackbot shots shoot down the ball while there was still a turret in its path.

Perhaps someone on the moneyball-dropped side had himself killed by buzzers right at spawn - the resulting splash damage hit Moneyball twice (by two buzzers) and caused a drop.

Cloaked gremlins may be possible but they normally go after pros/turrets.

I have witnessed this sometimes and never could figure it out. It's not as if I can check for buzzers since they are gone or gremlins since... well, if they are responsible, they kami'd themselves going on the moneyball.

No. Bots only stop at a turret if it shoots the bots first. When a turrent is upgrading, it doesn't shoot at bots, that's why they bypass it.

I can't test this out right now, but I will as soon as my account is gold again. I'm still confident in my reply, however.

That makes a bit more sense, although I still think it's glitchy. I saw a bouncer bypass two un-upgrading turrets and three pros to take down the ball yesterday.

MLGintervention and I tried to figure out how to do this for hours yesterday. We really couldn't figure anything out. Someone that we had played with was able to do this, although we were not sure how, so we tried to duplicate it.

I'll clarify a few things... the person who did this was an assassin and has done this in many games. All the bots on the map/lanes were cleared and then the ball dropped out of no where. When the ball dropped there were no signs of gremlins near the ball.

It seamed like the ball was taken down manually or some way that the turrets were still intact or something.

I know gremlins go for the turrets then the moneyball if

    A) No pros are on the ground
    B) If the only pro on the ground is an assassin cloaked they bypass that pro as well.

Soon as the ground is clear of pros they will attack the ball.. i think bouncers have the same pattern.

Also buzzers will hit bots then the money ball and bypass turrets but non of them were in sight or spawned in the game.

From what I know and have heard the ball was taken down manually and this person abuses this tatic.

I've tried many different things and can't come up with nothing yet this person has perfected it. Some how they bring the ball down manually.

Don't Bouncers also jump onto the Moneyball too? I think.

they do... but none were spawned...

This person knows how to manually take the ball down without spawning them just like the original pre-patch way.

Seams hard to believe but I'm not the only one who has witnessed it.
