I have recently found out a potential use for the Gunner's Mortar. Since the mortar follows a parabolic path there are two possible angles that can hit a location on a horizontal plain. One is generally a small angle the other is generally very large. The very high arc shot has a lot of tacical potenial however it is nearly impossible to quickly aim a shot that will hit the location of choice. So I ask for something on the Gunner's hud, when using the mortar, that will give the angle above the horizontal to one decibel place. This will make it much easier to judge how great the horizontal displacement will be. It would of course still take a ton of experience. The end result would be a supportive side to the Gunner that has not currently been seen. For example your teammates ask you to bomb a certain location because they can't make any progress. So you in turn line it up and start shotting and with enough expericence you'll be able to hit the location. It may not kill the enemy but it will force them to move. To sum it up please add something that measures the angle above the horizontal.
Excuse me for being a simpleton, but wtf do you mean? The mortars are fine and if you need help lining up shots with them, then you should give up man.
 I have no problem hitting stuff using a low arc shot (small angle). I'm having trouble using the high arc where a person shots the mortar nearly straight up to hit a location or high arc (larger angle). Why am I having trouble because a 75 degree angle has a derastically different result than an 80 or 85 degree angle I can't make it any easier than that.
pretend you are on grenade3 and you are by your left bot spawn. Your teammates yell for help by the right side turrets. So you rain mortars from across the map.
Honestly, I'm about the last person to ever want to raise a counterpoint in a topic like this but...It's called skill. It takes practice. Playing is practice. Play more, get better. Use mortars more, you'll get better at using them. Hell, if I could even briefly be good enough with grenades to get direct hits at their maximum range(just before timed detonation) against jumping targets I don't see why anyone else can't spam mortars across the map accurately.
I'm sorry but this ability is beyond even the best players in MNC why because even the slightest change in aim makes all the difference in the world it's like sniping a moving fly out of the air from 300m. Only good fortune is going to give you a hit. (I can safely say it is beyond every one because I have yet to see or even hear of some body using it in the way I'm trying to use it, also keep in mind i am reffering to a large angle not a straight shot to the target) Yes give a decent person 10-60 seconds and enough comunication from teammates and he/she can hit most locations but that takes way too much time. The only thing that can be consistantly hit is the enemy money ball why because it is never going to move and nor are you. Hitting one or two locations from one or two other spots is relatively easy. Hitting an unlimited number of locations from any other location is impossible given the current set up. By the way I have over 3,000,000 dollars/coins I'm not that new; I'm not that inexperienced. Please don't take this the wrong way there are many people that can kick my a**.
This isn't a completely bad idea but if you familiarize yourself with the reticule of the mortar you'll notice that it kind of has that effect though not to the degree you are asking
Practice. You could've been practicing instead of posting about how you're having difficulty with something that is a skill
the problem here is that people misconceive the mortar as a mortar. the mortar in this game is not the general idea of a mortar...ie very long range suppressive weapon it is however a perfectly balanced weapon if you realise it is not used to hit the opposite side of the map
