They seem to be the worst spawnable bot. Bouncers have high health, and can devastate weaker classes. They can still distract stronger classes for a short time. Buzzers are feather-light, fairly easy to shoot, and get stuck on walls, but if they catch you off-guard, it's back to the spawnroom for you. Gapshots shell the enemy base from far away, often leaving the base in ruins before they get there. Gremlins are easy to kill and weak, but come in swarms and can catch you off-guard with their cloak. Plus, they destroy turrets in a snap if there are no pros on the ground. Scramblers are slow and easy to kill, armed with a only a strong melee slash. While they do suck away your skills, any good player can destroy them before they can do any real damage, often before they can even sap any skill. Personally, I think they need a bigger drain radius. Deployed Jet Gun range, maybe.
Hey, It's still a beta, right? Beta stages are for testing. We're beta testers, and this is our feedback back to UberEnt.
Betas are to test the functionality of the game and to make sure it works, game design is for game designers.
I can hop on this bandwagon, everyone of my friends that plays this game thinks that the scramblers aren't even close to worth the money. A larger radius for their skill drain sounds pretty good. They may even need a mild armor boost as well, but I can't say that for sure.
Instead of giving the stronger defences or bigger scramble radius I think they could benefit from some healing aura, when ever around one your character could take the effect of silver health regen maybe, but it needs to be well balanced otherwise there is no need for a support to overheal or use a level 3 firebase for healing.
Ooh, I like it. Makes for a great support bot. Maybe it just speeds up health regen? +5/10% Health Regen for all friendly pros nearby?
more drain radius and maybe a delay time for the pro to be able to recover them. im trying to think of what that delay would remind me of. kind of like the health regeneration, so that when they do suffer drain, it doesnt undrain for 5 seconds or so.
