In SupCom after you scout the enemy: If is a building will remain the Strategic Icon, until you scout again to see what change... If is a Unit will remain the Strategic Icon if is in Radar Range, but if the radar go OffLine you lose too
I agree, but there may be a lore reason your units can't remember ****. Maybe these super advanced robots are short on RAM and they can't save uniquely identifying information against each target spotted. Maybe they are suffering from legacy code in their AI and they delete any personally identifying information in compliance with the Privacy Act. In more seriousness, I have the suspicion it's already planned and on the way, OR they intentionally cut it for the sake of game play.
YES PLEASE ABSOLUTELY THIS Without this feature, you're basically forced to keep your eyes constantly on your scouts so you don't miss anything. But on round planets, it takes your entire attention just to watch one unit.
They did say they plan to do this but that it could take some time. *Edit* I can't remember when I heard or read that, so maybe I'm just lying to you. It might just have been a single dev in a play test stream saying it would be nice.
omg guys, I've been posting this thread over and over and over again : use it! https://forums.uberent.com/threads/different-blips.49424/
It's a bit weird but I think of Brianpurkiss as a younger BulletMagnet. Speaking as a 10 year vet of Ta and Supcom forums your posting styles are oddly similar
Not sure if I should be flattered or insulted. Though I am now tempted to set my picture as an upside-down selfie. Aaaand, holy carp, almost six years... guess who now feels old.
Conservation of chaos. If he fixed both typos then one would happen elsewhere. He's taking the fall for us all.
I think we should have one feature that was also present in Sins of a Solar Empire that was a small timer that said time you last scouted the place this would allow you to keep track and keep information comming
Till this is added you can hit F11 to help you spot buildings through fog of war. It's a very helpful feature, I'm always telling people this in-game.
