Uber has a PA page on Google+ but it hasn't been updated since Nov. Does anyone know what the status is on that or did Uber decide to just drop the page? Just wondering...
Yeah. They shouldn't neglect the Google+ page. If you post something on fb/twitter, post it on the G+ page. People do use it, even though it isn't quite as popular as the other networks. And the more Uber uses it, the more growth it'll have.
That's what I feared. Too bad though, G+ is my favorite social network and it would be nice to get PA news through there.
Yeah. That's not true. Especially since there's plenty of stats showing that Google+ is growing rapidly (much faster than the other networks) and has been doing that for some time, even before all of the forced integration. Just because you don't use it doesn't mean it's dead. What's more, with little to no effort, the PA G+ page has 4.6k followers. If it is actively maintained, then it could grow to quite a lot more. It's an easy free advertising point for Uber. I'd love to see it all grow more. LavaSnake is right though. That's pretty off topic.
Google+ is only going to get bigger and more important on the internet. If you want to interact with Youtube and the social media benefits thereof then it really would be beneficial to keep that Google+ active.
That'd be nice if they updated everything once a week/ month but I can understand not updating tumblr (even if it is reddits sister practically) as much/ at all because its a blog site so it would only make sense to update it with development screen shots and test videos and patch notes or have one of the guys at uber give some sort of weekly report with what's happening and all that would take up time without a huge benefit than doing it to g+ or fb
