T1 "Assault" Bot name poll

Now that the new build has come out, we see that the Ant got renamed to Pounder. So, does anyone want to see the T1 Bots renamed as well? Do you like the original name (Scamper), the existing name (Dox), or would you like to see something different altogether?

Doesn't really matter what we think.

Besides, I think the Dox is named after someone for a backer reward.

Scamper is a WAY better name, I much prefer it over Dox
Particularly with the naming conventions across the board.

I'm voting Dox, but only because "Doxen" is a much cooler plural than "Scampers".

Potentially 11 of these units are already named so the renaming of the scamper to Dox was probably done for the original backers.

I think the dox has grown on me actually. Humming bird, not so much.

Hummingbird and then Peregrine? It should be the name of another raptor... If anything, the gunship should be the Hummingbird...

I got all excited, because I thought I had coined that plural in the PA community.

So I did a search. Turned out I reinvented the wheel a couple of months after someone else.

Doxen for the win. But I much prefer the name scampers.

I believe that both the "Dox" and "Holkins" were named because of a backers reward. If that's rue than there's no reason to talk about it.

May be named for Dox, an Uber Employee.

I like Scamper but if there really is a backer called Dox who paid $6-10K to name a unit then let them have it. (its my understanding that this IS the case)

Edit: In fact this actually makes the name cooler when you think of it that way.

Dox is named after the Uber employee of the same handle. However I believe Dox is a very hard-sounding word and would be better used for the hard-hitting t2 bot currently called the Slammer. A hard word like Dox doesn't suit the smallest, cheapest popcorn unit in the game.

It also doesn't make me smile, and most importantly sounds like male genitalia when I say it over comms with my accent.

If this employee didn't pay $1,000,000 dollars to get this naming right then I take back my previous comments.

Every time I read "Dox" in this topic I want to read "Dax".

Dox is named after one of our animator/artists, Andrew, who goes by Dox, and also runs all of our major LiveStreams.

It should be renamed to "TheWoods". That'd be a great unit name.
