So I just won a game that made no sense to me. I started the game as a normal game but clicked ready before anyone joined so that I could fight a bot instead of a human. I have done this before but I thought I should mention it just in case. So I built up my base like normal and it didn't take long before the AI started showing up at my doorstep. I fought them off then began searching for their base. My land units had no luck so I built recon aircraft and sent them out to every mass extractor I could find. Still nothing. It was a sloppy flight pattern so I assumed I just missed them. No mater I would just take out the whole planet. So I got up to a moon and launched that at the planet and won the game. However I was still curious. So I hit replay and looked at their base before the planet landed. No base, units everywhere but no base, and I couldn't find their commander. Well I had tossed some nukes around and their commander might just be mixed in with some tanks or something. So I rewound until the beginning. This is where I started getting really confused. Still no base, still no AI commander. Nothing. So I told the game to begin fast forwarding through. Then suddenly units. They just appeared magically right outside my base and began walking towards it. as the game continued to fast forward more and more units just spawned magically all over the map forming the massive armies that I had fought off. Has anyone seen this happen before. Does anyone know why it happened? It was quite perplexing.
The chronocam is pretty bugged and you will not always see everything on a replay. Sometimes I have had the same problem where you can't see any units except the ones that eventually came into your view.
I was on an earth type. Perhaps the crono cam was just being buggy but even when I was playing and sending out recon units I never did find their base... Though I am not know for begin the most observant person in the world X P
