I just purchased Planetary Annihilation over Steam not even a full hour ago and was disappointed to find out that I couldn't even get past the terms and conditions without crashing. I don't know how to fix it but I have followed all of the fixes from the Steam post.

I'm out of options, and I want to at least try and play the game.

Any help/solutions? Sorry, I'm new here.

I attempted to update DirectX a couple of times, but it's up to date.

My specs? Those are as follows:

    Dell Inspiron 5520
    Intel 3rd Generation i5-3210M 2.5 GHz
    8GB RAM
    Intel HD Graphics 4000

Can you post a DxDiag? if you look in the bug forum there might be some answers already to your issue.

That Intel accelerator is pretty weak FYI.

I'm aware, I have had plans to upgrade but special circumstances have forbade it.

Your Graphics Drives are also almost a year old, that is always a good first step.

Every source I check, even Intel themselves, are saying that my drivers are up to date. I can't find an update driver.

Found a bunch here listed with dates from November, just a quick Google search brought that up as the first result.

I'm going to try the newest driver. I'll see what happens.
