Hi I just bought the beta through steam and I would like to play on Linux. I signed up for this account and would like to link my steam account. When I click on the link steam account it sends me to a steam page where half of the page coding comes up in Korean or Japanese some sort of oriental characters? Its not a setting in my browser it,s just this page ? I feel a little Leary about using my steam password on this page! Dos anyone know if this is legit or what? Thank's
You may want to take a screenshot of that page and/or your steps and post it here. Do not show or put any passwords of course.
Hey HostileParadox Thanks for the reply. I've been on the go for the holidays and just now got the time to repost. I think you can consider this issue solved. I just went and installed under windows on a work computer and now my account is properly associated with steam. This also seemed to solve the problem in my second post about being blocked from certain posts in the forum. I'm not sure why I need a steam Id to view certain posts when I am already signed in to my Uber account? I think it may have something to do with the way the posts are linked between sites? I linked through a windows copy of the game.If any of the dev's are looking at this I think your link back to steam for account association is not sending the users language properly? And the steam site just picks whatever? This along with a giant do not give out your password "NON STEAM SITE" warning box that pops up might scare a few people from linking there game. Anyway thanks for the reply Hostile. I hope to see you on for a match once I get the game running and have a chance to familiarize myself with how to play. You don't need it. If you already linked to Steam then you just need to log out on forum and login again, then you'll get access to PA Beta sub forums.
