I'm stuck on the "Link UberNet with Steam" page as it won't accept any text input. I can hit alt tab and interact with the steam popup just fine, but I can't type or click on anything on the Link... page. Its like its ignoring the keyboard. I was able to toggle between accept and decline on the eula page with the keyboard, but I had to click with the mouse to actually press the buttons.
Still in your system info I don't see any reason why it's can happen. Can you please link your accounts and try to use non-Steam version? https://store.uberent.com/Download/Install?titleId=4
Can't use Enter. on the EULA page, if I hit enter, the "Accept" button briefly blinks, but then the EULA just stays there. I can click on things up until I click in one of the text entry fields (username or password). After that point I can't do anything except kill the application. I linked my account on the webpage, and that got me as far as the lobby, where I tried clicking in the chat box, and at that point, the same behavior: can't type, can't click on anything. Killing the game and trying again. I've managed to get into a player vs AI game, and am building stuff, so it appears it works until I try to use a text field.
Interesting. Can you please check this: when you try to use text input in-game is UI freezing? E.g your units continue to move fine, but you can't use anything except zoom. I just think this can be Coherent crash. Also do you use any other languages in your system besides English?
Played a game for a while, was able to scroll around with the cursor keys, but when I hit enter, at that point I was no longer able to control the game. The mouse "target" cursor could still be moved around, but I coudn't scroll or click or select or do anything from the point after I hit enter. music was still playing, and the weapons I had built were still firing occasionally. In that dxdiag I uploaded, at the very end, there were some errors, I think there was something about a Coherent exception. I seen them, I just wonder why exactly it's crashing on text input. Can you please answer on question from previous post?
On a sidenote, the very first time I launched PA, it crashed on launch, but I had windows media player open, which somehow hogs my sound devices, and was trying to close it while PA was launching, so I assumed that crash was related to that; either windows media hogging the sound, or my trying to close it at the last second before PA took over the screen (or maybe it was all unrelated and coincidental). Seeing same issue on initial launch of PA, however, in my case my steam account was already linked to my Uber Entertainment account and never got the entry fields for my username and password after launching the game. Seeing the Beta EULA with accept/decline buttons but can't click with the mouse (no mouse cursor shown at all) and using tab & enter just causes buttons to blink with no change on the EULA page. Alt+Tabbing in and out of PA I was able to get mouse cursor lined up with the accept button and then was able to click accept and have the EULA page respond. Beta video launched successfully and took me to UI thereafter but only seeing mouse cursor when using Alt+Tab Edit: Once I Alt+Tabbed enough to go through the tutorial video and click on settings I was able to select windowed mode using keyboard navigation and when it reloaded into windowed mode I had a visible cursor in the game. Switching it back to fullscreen immediately made my cursor again disappear.
