I've been recently getting into PA and loving it. However living in Australia it can be hard to find a game sometimes due to lack of players during times I can/want to play. So I don't piss anyone off I just wanted to ask whether or not it ruins the experience for other players if I were to join a EU or USA server at which I would have probably a 400 ping.

I think it would just be ping for you.

Only for you (I'm a fellow 'strayan). What you'll experience is units stuttering and jumping as information about them is updated on your side of the connection.

I wouldn't worry about it. When I've encountered them, playing matches with Australians has totally enhanced my experience. ;)

You already get correct answer, but I'll clarify that. PA is client-server game and it's mean that everyone connected to server and not each other, so one client can't affect anybody else.

And even for you bandwidth more important than latency (ping), I played on Australia servers just fine even with ping 300. There is input lag that I can feel, but game is totally playable.
