Hi, I have tried several times over the past couple of weeks to start and publish a Player vs AI game. For some strange reason it does not let me publish any games. Also what seems fairly odd is, that the selection of player or AI team and the resources modifiers are all grayed out. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Trolls however are not.
Ok. ... so you are signed into UberNet, with an active Internet connection? You click new game. Player vs AI. You just have yourself and 1 AI? At this point you click publish to create a game lobby. Having done that you can join the player team (done automagically) and adjust economy scaling, and then go on to start the game?
Yep, im signed in to ubernet, it says so on the starting screen. I have an active internet connection (who doesnt lol) Yes, but everything is grayed out. i cant click anything except Add Army and Publish game. However this is where i get stuck. I can click the Publish game button dozens of times, it does its clicking sound, but nothing ever happens. I never get this far
Are you playing on Windows? Can you please upload your DxDiag.txt? Your problem looks like it's related to your screen resolution, DPI or graphics drivers.
Dont think it should/could be my display settings. it used to work a while back (about a month or more ago, dont really remember when the last time was i played). Anywho, attached the DxDiag.
Please close/lock this thread. My issue has mysteriously resolved itself. Everything works again while i did everything the same like when it didnt allow me to publish my game. Thank you for your time
