    So cool that with the new twitch integration, you guys can just toss up an informal stream whenever to show stuff off, instead of having some long process to get ready.

    We are doing continued testing of area commands and the notification system, as well as sanity checking for regressions.

    Will the game have a way to collapse multiple notifications from the same battle into a single notification that sticks around longer than usual? I can see that getting really spammy otherwise.

    Also, lesson learned: Don't use area commands for advanced power fields.

    What was new:
    -Area command building

    -(Shift) Drag and build

    -Notification system

    New: (Building) Interplanetary radar
    It has about that same size as an Umberella and it looks like a Radar dish.

    That was a great game to watch. Nice way to pull out a draw, too. Ultimately a loss if neutrino's commander ever landed, but still quite fun. Area and line building commands are looking quite nice, and the notification system is a much-welcomed addition. Quite anxious to see those features in the hands of the community.

    Not only was it another feature-teaser stream of what's going on at uber, but it was pretty much also a Q&A session between twitch chat at metabolical.

    Very, very cool. Thanks a lot!

    On the topic of building static defenses in a line, I would kind of like a way to influence the space between turrets on the fly. So I can go from a very dense line to a very sparse one without having to resort to manual placement.

    while clicking and dragging it would be cool if scroll wheel set the spacing of the mass production structures in question.

    I would get frustrated very quickly every time I tried to zoom out to set up a large area command and ended up changing the spacing instead.

    I think choosing the spacing between buildings with the mousewheel would be ergonomic.
    edit: huh i didn't read the scroll wheel idea.
