    I'm sure someone will bag me for another poll, but here goes...

    Whats that one minor feature or unit that you really wish the devs would work on quicker? (Obviously I am leaving out big things like Ranked ladder matches, Galactic war, Megabot, Unit cannon, UI redesign or full re-balance).

    Do you really think gunships are more important than ..say... transports? Maybe transports would be gunships?

    Anyway I am surprised that there no one jumps to an obvious choice. It means that Uber is doing pretty well with the progress I think.

    Yes. Transports aren't my style, and people spam fighters. Plus it requires area commands to be effective.

    An attack gunship, i.e. an anti-land-unit aircraft with limited to no AA (as opposed to bombers, which are anti structural) would be interesting to play with. Pretty much any unit added to the roster would be a huge change.

    Infinite queues we already have, because of two mods. Modbatch and hotbuild. Either spam lots of one unit or use the requeue system. It isn't very interesting for gameplay.


    Transports could be interesting. . . But they aren't that helpful unless the game is automatically ferrying them places for you. Look at how much care ZaphodX puts into an Astreus.

    transports will be VERY (and are) important, since we wont be all starting on the same planet for very long. This means you will need a way to transport that massive army across the system from your production lines on your planet.

    Being able to invade a planet thats not in orbit of your own (aka unable to nuke to clear an area) will be a mainstay for this game. There will be two parts to this that will need to be balanced. 1. the HP of the transport itself (is it able to survive any anti orbital stuff on the planet). And 2. How many troops can it carry. If the transport is too weak and too costly to use, no one will use it even tho its there. A tanky transport will be needed, and it will be up to the defender to decide if he wants to kill it while its in orbit, or kill it on the ground once it lands. Also having it transport 5 T2 units or 10 T1's would be the best balanced approach to such a thing. Make it somewhat cheap so you can spam them if the need arises, and you have yourself a good transport system for interplanetary conquest.

    How about proper observer modes for casters to really promote and show the exciting game thats getting made. Anything that can get more players involved in Planetary Annihilation would be welcome.

    Now talk about transporting 70 Ants and 20 Levellers, using 10 T1/5 T2 unit transports.

    Firstly the thread is asking for my personal opinion.

    The thread is also about what is the first thing you want to see. Transports kind of require area commands and a ferry system to be worth it. Or, you know. Individually queuing 11 transports to pick up 100 units, unit by unit.

    So yeah. Do I want to see a broken unit which will be a pain in the *** to use ingame until complementary features are introduced?

    Alliance mode. :) Not a minor feature i know, but cannot wait to play this mode! :D

    Oh and a.i to build navy, really want to play on water worlds with some a.i.

    We've been given a sneak peek at area commands, so my vote goes for transports.

    Naval transports would also be very nice, though.

    I didn't checked what new info exposed to UI. So it's already possible to track kill count of each individual unit?
