    That was actually Metabolical sharing. ;-) Our biz dev guru and the guy who is continuing to work on the twitch implementation.

    I have started trying to play around with twitch as well, though only infrequently. You will probably be able to periodically see me stream tests on uber_garat.

    Err... any chance that with Area commands in... we can make some building placement closer?

    e.g. blocks of power gens? Say 2x2, 3x2, 3x3 blocks?

    Well.....
    I'm thinking about how it was prepatch. You don't need gaps between each power gen to keep your base "pathable", when you have buildings that are larger than power gens.

    If you think of powergens as a city - they are most likely to be built in a block with streets and avenues. So it makes lots of sense to have more than one building per block. Your base is still pathable, but you save on area necessary to build a base.

    Obviously you have to spread your power around so that one decent attack doesn't just take it all out.

    Check out line commands and please give them a thought.

    Anything that reduces the APM needed to do complex stuff helps!

    You've probably already thought of this, but when doing the mex area it would be nice to get an outline of the area the mex were being built in, like a circle expanding out from your initial selection point.
    EDIT: Actually at 14 minutes into the video there is a circle when doing an area build, maybe it just bugged out later.

    At 13 minutes in to the video there is a line build of turrets (looks like the line UI for it is missing?), looking forward to being able to do that too!! :)
    EDIT: another line build at 18 minutes too.
    EDIT: There is a line build around 29:30 where you can see the dots when it goes over land.

    Looked like commander was gonna get himself trapped inside that generator ring. Loose placement avoided the peril this time!
